Treat Yourself to a £10 Meal During the Great Bath Feast

Have you got a spare tenner burning a hole in your wallet? Save it up for this year’s Great Bath Feast and let it take you on a voyage of discovery.

The Brunch Bunch

Start the day right with a classic Eggs Benedict or a fascinating Eggs Florentine accompanied by a glass of Bucks Fizz, served in the splendid surroundings of The Pump Room. Alternatively, head to CAU in Milsom Place for a dish from their brunch menu and a Mimosa cocktail – from bacon and egg flatbreads to roasted peaches with granola by way of sweet potato pancakes, avocado eggs and more, it’s all going on.

Pizza Perfection

Pizza fans, you’re in luck! Enjoy a whole pizza and a pint of beer, accompanied by a glass of Prosecco or a soft drink at the Bath Pizza Co, a whole pizza and a glass of red wine at Jamie’s Italian, or a whole pizza, side salad and a drink at the Stable. The only question – which to go for first?

The Pies Have It

Indulge in a handcrafted pie made with Bath Ales’ seasonal Forest Hare ale, accompanied by a Bath Ales pint at Graze Bath on Brunel Square; a pie of the day and a pint of London Pride at the Boater on Argyle Street. Who ate all the pies? You’d be crazy not to.

Let’s Do Lunch

Go wild in the country and enjoy two Ploughman’s Lunches accompanied by local apple juice at Bookbarn International’s Full Stop Cafe, or take in the stunning panoramic views at Combe Grove over two courses of fresh, seasonal delightfulness.

Feeling franglais? Enjoy Cornish mussels in a cider, leek and Alsace bacon broth paired with a glass of Jean de Laroche Sauvignon Blanc at Chez Dominique, or mussels with cider, lemon mayonnaise, fries, dipping breads and half a pint of local ale at The Royal Crescent Hotel & Spa.

Or eat light at the Mint Room, with a traditional Chatt followed by either a superfood wrap or a Tikka Massala, and accompanied by either a glass of wine or a uniquely refreshing Nimbu Panni.

Time for Tea

Experience the delights of the newly opened Apex City of Bath Hotel over a Gentleman’s Afternoon Tea, a sturdier, savoury alternative to the traditional afternoon tea.

Enjoy a Somerset Cream Tea for two people served in elegantly picturesque surroundings at Bailbrook House Hotel, or a luxurious afternoon tea served against views across Bath’s historic Pulteney Bridge in the Atelier Restaurant at the Hilton Bath City Hotel.

All Day, Every Day

Crowd-pleasing options are guaranteed at Garfunkel’s. Sample two courses from their family-friendly menu at a time that best suits your itinerary, and make it three courses for £13.

Bag a boisterous burger plus a beverage at Belushi’s, a hot salt beef roll and a pint of ale at The Garrick’s Head, or a loaded hotdog, fries and a beer at The Bath Brew House.

The Clifton Sausage are offering a trio of gourmet sausages served with mash, gravy and a glass of house wine or a soft drink.

Or if you’d like to while away an afternoon or evening with drinks and accompaniments, enjoy a glass of house wine or beer accompanied by two indulgent tapas-style bar snacks at the Abbey Hotel’s super-chic ArtBar.

Unique Treats

Grab three jars of In a Pickle chutneys, preserves and – of course – pickles for just £10 at Newton Farm Shop, take a tour through Bath’s drinking history on The Bath Pub Tour and participate in a pub quiz with prices as you wend your way along the route, purchase any signature stainless steel kitchen utensil for just £10 (RRP £16) at Robert Welch Designs, or treat yourself to two big chunks of handmade fudge plus a glass of Prosecco on the San Francisco Fudge Factory’s alfresco terrace, which offers stunning views of Bath Abbey.
