Every Saturday morning, Green Park Station comes alive with producers and punters, perusing a vibrant collection of fruits, vegetables, baked goods, meats, fish and more.

Newton Farm Shop and Café

What: Nestled in picturesque surrounds on the edge of Newton St Loe, Newton Farm Shop boasts a treasure trove of West Country produce, from meats and bread to honeys and liquor, as well as unique home and table wares sourced from local artisan designers. Somerset Lavender

Where: Horsepond Farm, Faulkland, BA3 5WA

What: One of Britain’s most dreamy farms, Somerset Lavender farms lavender for its essential oil. Visit in the spring and summer months (open May-September) and be greeted by five acres of sprawling lavender fields, alive with butterflies, enchanting scents, and bees busying themselves collecting pollen for the farm’s own honey. Stop by their Farm Shop, where you can pick up some of the lavender products produced on the farm, and their café for tea and homemade cake.

Don’t miss: Their plant nursery, where you can buy one of their many varieties lavender to take home with you.

Bath Soft Cheese Company

Where: Kelston, Bath, BA1 9AG

What: Bath Soft Cheese Company produce five varieties of delectable cheese, using milk from their 160-strong herd of (mostly) Friesian Holstein cattle. They are proud to be able to say that all of their cheese is 100% organic, produced in their ‘state-of-the-art cheese facility’. You can buy their cheese on-site from their Cheese Shop, as well as from a number of other outlets in Bath and further afield, or stop by their on-site café for a toastie, cheeseboard or milkshake made from their own milk.
