The Great Bath Feast was developed in 2012 by Bath Tourism Plus (BTP), Bath’s destination marketing organisation, and the Bath Business Improvement District (BID), as a proactive campaign to promote the city’s delicious food and drink sector.
BTP and the BID are responsible for organising this established event, which runs every year for the duration of October. The event features a variety of different promotions, workshops, special suppers, demonstrations, tastings and much more, all with a focus on local produce and foodie businesses in the area.

Working with the public and private sectors, Bath’s destination marketing organisation, Bath Tourism Plus, takes full responsibility for co-ordinating the work of a busy tourist information centre, the marketing of Bath and the surrounding area to leisure and business travellers, PR activity to attract the nation’s top travel writers, a conference office, and development of Bath’s official destination website www.visitbath.co.uk.
Bath Business Improvement District
The Bath Business Improvement District Company (Bath BID) jointly funds and manages the Great Bath Feast. The Bath BID acts as a catalyst to harness energy and enthusiasm to create a food event which is distinctive and unlike any other in the UK. With commitment to providing support for the business community, events like Great Bath Feast are born from a collaboration between public and private sector; retailers and landlords and both independent and high street retailers.
