5 Ways to Discover Bath’s Newest Hotel During this Year’s Great Bath Feast

The newly-opened Apex City of Bath Hotel is home to a relaxed and informal restaurant, where two AA Rosette-winning head chef Ben Abercrombie and his team of 15 chefs fuse classic French techniques with a modern British twist.

From a delicious Sunday roast to a £10 Gentleman’s Afternoon Tea, here are five ways you can experience Apex during this year’s Great Bath Feast.

1. Enjoy a Spectacular Seven-Course Taster Menu

Tuck into an indulgent seven-course showcase feast of the best locally-sourced and seasonal ingredients, with a wine flight specially tailored to suit the menu. You can enjoy a delicious Apex Journey Dinner on September 29th, 30th, October 6th and 7th.

2. Tuck Into a Roast Feast

Apex are debuting their Sunday roasts during this year’s Great Bath Feast. Tuck into slow-cooked beef, pork loin or braised lamb shoulder, accompanied by goose fat potatoes, big yorkies, pot-roast vegetables and dripping. This is a Roast Feast not to be missed.

3. Treat Yourself to a Gentleman’s Afternoon Tea

A sturdier, savoury alternative to the traditional Afternoon Tea, Apex’s Gentleman’s Afternoon Tea includes scotch eggs, beef burger sliders and potted mackerel toasts. You can enjoy a delicious Gentleman’s Afternoon Tea from Monday – Thursday during the Feast for just £10.

4. Get 10% off restaurant reservations

Take advantage of Apex’s Great Bath Feast special offer and receive a 10% discount and a complimentary welcome treat on all restaurant reservations and private dining throughout this year’s Feast. To book, simply email or call 01225 418501 and quote ‘Great Bath Feast’.

5. Celebrate All Things Foodie at the Bath Good Food Awards

The Bath Good Food Awards celebrate and recognise the best in food and drink around the city, and this year’s ceremony will be held at Apex. On Sunday 24th September, Bath’s culinary favourites will gather in the hotel’s all-new Lansdown Suite to enjoy a three-course meal put together by Christopher Cleghorn of Olive Tree Restaurant, Rupert Taylor of Allium Restaurant, and Apex’s own Ben Abercrombie, and will discover who has been crowned the best of the best. If you weren’t lucky enough to secure a seat at the table, you can keep up with the evening’s action by following @BathGoodFood on Twitter.
